Photo: Cliff above Saint-Guilhem-le-D??sert (#camerabag)

This picture was taken in Saint-Guilhem-le-D??sert whilst on holiday last June in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Saint-Guilhem is an incredibly beautiful village above the gorge of the Herault River (itself a stunning shade of blue). The narrow sandy coloured streets climb between the river and the hills on an old pilgrim route. The remains of an ancient castle are visible in the cliffside in this photo. The village still has a large monastery at its heart but is more well known now for the artists and artisans who live and work in the village.

The photo was taken with my Sony A200 and has been run through CameraBag for Mac using Lolo and Colorcross filters with reprocessing on

This is the view from Gunwharf Quays towards the Solent. The area to the left is Old Portsmouth – specifically the Spice Island inn.

Photo: Gothic arches at Winchester Cathedral (#camerabag)

This photo of Winchester Cathedral was taken on 19th March 2010 with my Sony A200. This is a fabulous passageway leading from the front of the cathedral towards the area of the Deanery and Winchester School. The vast amount of stonework and flying buttresses illustrates the remarkable superstructure that was required to hold up one of these enormous buildings.

Edited in Camerabag for Mac using 1962, ColorCross and Instant filters with Reprocess on.

Interesting effect produced by running this picture through camerabag on my iPhone 3 times.

Taken on my only visit to Stonehenge several years ago in my pre-DSLR days. This will have been taken with a bridge camera – probably a Fuji.

Just before this was taken I was stopped and asked for directions. By a French couple. I guess I didn’t look that touristy! Luckily I had been by the place they were looking for and in my schoolgirl French managed to explain how to get there.

Tiltshift photo of a Dublin cafe/bar

Found this high angle shot I’d taken of a cafe / bar in Dublin several years ago. Seemed a good one to try out with the tiltshift iPhone app. Think it’s turned out quite well.
