It rained a bit but this is still a fantastic place to visit. The abbey was only completed in 1936 and has beautiful contemporary stained glass. In addition there is a great restaurant and a monastic produce shop which sells some very interesting stuff. This photo is trying out the HDR filter of Camera+.

Photo: Castle Drogo (#camera+)
Castle Drogo is described as the last castle built in Britain. A folly designed by Edward Lutyens for Julius Drewe it wasn’t completed until 1926. The home is built high on Dartmoor with great views of the Teign valley. But the real beauty is the incredible architectural craftsmanship that went into the building. Taken with iPhone. Cropped & filtered with Camera+.

Photo: Twisted Metal (#camerabag)
??
In Montpellier there was a fence near the viaduct which had the most fantastic wrought iron railings. The ends of the fence were capped with twisting S shapes of spiky metal creating a stunning effect.
This photo was taken last June with my Sony A200 and has been edited in CameraBag for the Mac using Magazine, Instant, Helga and Colorcross filters with reprocessing.
