The Sacre Coeur Basilica in Paris is an incredibly beautiful Byzantine building. Its vantage point at the top of Montmartre succeeds in giving it a fantastic view over the city and gives the city a view of it. It’s one of my things to look for when I’m travelling to or from Paris via Eurostar.
Having finally managed to go to Paris for something other than work I managed to get to see it this time. And you can’t fault 36C and cloudless skies for being a great day to visit
