Photo: St Paul’s Cathedral & the Millennium Bridge
Photo taken with my iPhone on Saturday 13th November just after I left the Tate Modern. Edited in Camera+ using a golden-ratio crop, backlit and miniature (tiltshift) filter.
The bridge isn’t any fun now that it doesn’t wobble but is still an elegant addition to the Thames providing a great angle to the cathedral.

Photos: The colours of Autumn at Westonbirt Arboretum
A set of photos taken at Westonbirt Arboretum in late October 2010. The weather conditions this year has led to a fantastic variety of autumn colour – combinations of gold, orange and brilliant reds. Probably past their best now but if you live near an arboretum or any park I’d recommend a walk through the leaves.

The trees at Westonbirt Arboretum (#autumnleaves)

Photos from a holiday in Dorset – sun, sea & blue skies
via flickr.comSurprisingly great weather for a week’s holiday in the UK in mid-October. Dorset – and the stretches of other southern counties I visited – looked lovely with blue skies and brilliant reflections on the water.
This stretch of the coastline does it’s best to be photogenic – my favourite places include Blue Pool & Lulworth Cove. Both are well worth a visit if you’re down near Poole or Weymouth.

Photo: Montacute House in a vintage style
An attractive 16th century property managed by the National Trust near Yeovil. Has a good portrait gallery. Suited a sepia filter for some reason.

The red and white striped lighthouse at Portland is an iconic landmark in Dorset.

Photos: blue sky and sea at Lulworth Cove
The beautiful circular harbour at Lulworth Cove looked great today under a blue sky. The peace only disturbed by the nearby army firing range!
All shots taken with iPhone using Camera+ with filters applied. -
Photos: Blue Pool on Dorset
3 views of Blue Pool near Wareham. This is a lovely spot for a walk where the water glows all different shades of blue and green.
