Beautiful day on the Norfolk Broads last Sunday with a lot of wildfowl on the water

Blickling Hall is a beautiful Jacobean house owned by the National Trust in North Norfolk with associations to the Boleyn family. It’s well worth a visit for the house and amazingly extensive grounds. There’s even a pub in the wider estate

This set of photographs taken with my new Sony A33 on a week’s holiday in Cornwall. All of these ones were to try out the inbuilt panorama mode on the camera which I think has done a pretty good job. The views are so big in Cornwall they merit the sweep shots

Between Portreath and Gwithian on the north coast of Cornwall is a lovely area called Hells Mouth. It’s a great place to walk through the gorse and look at the fantastic coastal views.

Pancakes with poached nectarines, raspberries and maple syrup. Served with a fabulous view of Porthmeor beach in St Ives.

These picturesque gardens stretch down the valley to the Helford River and were used to practice the D-Day landings.

If you’re heading to the far west of Cornwall stop before you get to Lands End for a visit to Sennen Cove. As with all of the Penwith peninsula the scenery along the coast is spectacular.

Spent a lovely morning wandering around St Ives from Porthminster to the harbour and on to Porthmeor.

Another beautiful day in Cornwall so I went for a walk from Lizard Point west along the coast and then back into the village. Got a little lost and went farther than I should but the views were worth the extra distance.
