These picturesque gardens stretch down the valley to the Helford River and were used to practice the D-Day landings.

If you’re heading to the far west of Cornwall stop before you get to Lands End for a visit to Sennen Cove. As with all of the Penwith peninsula the scenery along the coast is spectacular.

Spent a lovely morning wandering around St Ives from Porthminster to the harbour and on to Porthmeor.

Another beautiful day in Cornwall so I went for a walk from Lizard Point west along the coast and then back into the village. Got a little lost and went farther than I should but the views were worth the extra distance.

Taken about 9:30pm on the way home. The lights from the town looked beautiful reflecting in the harbour.

Visited Eden today. It’s been open 10 years now and I’ve visited every year since before it was fully open. My first trip was before the biomes opened and you went around in a little train.

A lovely village that’s well worth a visit. Hard to see the evidence now of how badly it was damaged by the flood in 2004.

Worth the walk!
