Buckland Abbey was the home of Sir Francis Drake. The former Cistercian abbey is now run by the National Trust as primarily a Drake museum. The images here are of the abbey itself, the great tithe barn and a little door in the garden. The tithe barn is the largest I’ve seen and is perfect for the dance they’re holding there this weekend.
